Hi Kristen!

How it's all going? I wanted to tell you some advice for when you come to school.

In my school we use an uniform but don't have to worry about that, we'll buy you one. All you have to bring is your trainers because we have PE twice a week, your swimsuit, so we could go to the pool on weekends, and you mustn't forget your school bag, some notebooks and some pens.

At SIL we enter at 9 am, then, we have lunch at 2.30 pm and we finish at 5.30. You´re allowed to eat at school but my house is very near so we can go and eat there.

We have English on Tuesdays, Thrusdays and Fridays, that won't be difficult for you. But we have Spanish on mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, so we're going to help you on that. You should also bring your drawing book and your professional colours because we have Art on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and I know you are very good on it.

You'll have homework too, so when we arrive home we will do our homework, I will help you if you have problems at any subject, and then we can go anywhere you want or do whatever you like.

Hi Sam ,

I’m writing you to explain you some things abaut my school. I’m wearing an uniform , but as you doesn’t have one , I’m going tu let you my second spare , as you can go like a normal girl.

You can´t wear pearsings or something like that , and you have to take of the bracelets that are noisely .

You musn’t forget your sport equipment , because we’re doing gymnastics and sport with the college . In Mondays and Wednesdays we’re going to the school of dance Cristina Colome , to do funnky , jazz and hip hop , so you have to wear big trainers.

I’m doing homework and studing all the days , but I have a laptop computer that it will you like , so as you can connect to internet will I’m studing .

Bring you a lot of money because we love shoping , so we’re going shoping almost all the weekends .

Hi Roger,
in my school we have to wear uniform, except on Friday that we're allowed to bring our clothes.You can buy the uniform in every comercial centre.
 You musn't forget your trainers because we've got tennis all the days.
 As you will see in the timetable that I upploed, we have english on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, two hours each day. We won't do art until next year becuase some teachers have complained about the small amount of hours that they have to teach us their lessons.
 Here it's not really cold but it rains a lot every day. You must bring jackets, gloves, etc.You must also bring an umbrella.

Hi Jay,

In my school we wear uniform so you must buy one when you arrive to Barcelona because if not you can’t enter. We wear a polo maroon and a gray trousers and when its cold or to eat at school you have to put on an overall, you don’t have to wear uniform in excursions of all the day, its very funny and you can bring some money to buy a souvenir.

My school is concentrated and its very big, we have good teachers and usually come boys from other countries like Russia or from South America so you don’t have to worry obout other guys that doesn’t know Spanish.

We study five days per week, seven hours. The teachers put a lot of homework but you only have to do English homework and study vocabulary in Spanish.

I play basketball so you’re should see me playing basketball because I train four days and I play a match one day at the weekend, so I don’t have time to do a lot of things but I must try to haven’t a lot of homework but I don’t promise anything.

I'm waiting for you here in Spain. I have to wear uniform to school. You will have to wear some trousers grey and a dark red shirt or something like this.You must have your hair cutted  because it's prohibited to have long hair, the boys. You are allowed to wear some wristbands but not a lot.


Don't forget your trainers because we have P.E. on Mondays and on Thursdays. Bring some pictures from your country because if you bring them we will see how is England.The worst day is Tuesday because we have boring classes in the morning. We have Art on Thursdays so you can bring some drawings if you want.


We start school at 9:00 and we finish at 17:30. I arrive home like at 17:45 and then I watch TV half an hour, and then I do my homework, you can watch tv while I work.

Hi Kenya

Well i'm gonna explain you the rules that you never forget for to the new school. The teachers repeat the rules but it's better if I said you first. For the things to wear, you have to wear a uniform. You can go with earrings but if you put the class of earrings biggest... Well you understand there I'm saying. You haven't to put make up, but the most of the girls does this, but I advice that don't do.

This school it's good for you to practise your Spanish and Catalan, but quite if you don't understand something ask for you mates.The clases starts to 9 AM, and finish to 17:30 PM. Normaly you go to eat it's to 14:30 PM, but the Thursdays you finish to 13:30. You should you to put food to the first lunch.

If you want I can explain you more things.

Hi Martha!


I sent you an email last week with the timetable of the school. Remember that on mondays we have PE so you have to bring your trainers. The first day you are allowed to skip classes because the teachers will show you all the school and your temporal dormroom.

I'm so excited:) ! You're sharing room with me! That's so cool!

Very important! You aren't allowed to wear piercings, makeup, and hair dyed in strong colours! And if you wear skirt, it has to be as long as your knee. I think it isn't a problem for you but it's necessary to know:P

Anyway, English classes will be easy to you, you must bring a notebook with photos from England sticked in it if you want to get high marks. Would be fantastic for you!

We have homework every day! So you can help me with English and I help you with Spanish! You don't have to do if you don't understand something so you can read or listen to music while I'm finishing my homework.

Bring lightweight clothes because in here it's quite hot! And don't forget a jacket for the afternoons, because the temperature goes down at 6 p.m .
